I recently got word that Sugar Hill a social establishment is being attacked by several people wishing to close them down in hopes that they will fold and they can purchase the property. Located in Brooklyn New York in the Bedstuy area, this establishment has been a stable business center in the community. Giving us places to go people to meet without always having to take our dollars out of the community.

Two prior violations were brought up against the club as I understand and the owner is subject to go to court. I received the information the morning after the court date. As usual I feel our lack of communication skills brings the message too late. So I am now forming this Action Blog-- This is for one purpose. Sending the people who want to help a forum to list the problems so that those who want to help and will help can get the message as well as the solution out.

We look forward to exposing the people involved and bringing the attack on our community to the light. Look around you. Your communities are being bought out from under you. What was once ghetto is now bougie- just because you don't live there. Real Estate is power and we don't have ownership of that power. We don't invest and most of all we don't support each other.

What are we going to Do? We had doctors, lawyers, politicians, stockbrokers, millionaires and people on their last call.

A necessary update==

After reaching out to a very powerful circle of friends it has been discovered that certain elements of this message has been fabricated. An apology for all those who have been misled into believing the hysteria. The alarm was not false it was simply the wrong color ( LOL) lower the level from red to blue. If it works for Bush -Why not. Yes the Liquor license has been revoked however they are proceeding with getting the establishment back on line. For those that have called--- Thanks and to those that have knocked on my door please get the facts straight. The business of helping people is a serious one and when you rile us up we get hungry and agitiated. Right now we are awake and ready to assist a real problem.

Here is something to do- Get out and vote. A vote now is a vote later.

Amaranth is an eye opener

Amaranth is an eye opener for the markets. Invest in solid companies and stop chasing the pipe dreams. There are enough high quality entrepreneurs with great companies waiting to go public and change our everyday lives. This loss shows the desperation of the firms when they let the traders have complete control. After the 2 billion dollar profit in April Brian Hunter basically owned Amaranth. This lack of control happens when your star player scores.

Amaranth needs to increase Hunter's staff and also hire a supervisor to help him. Trading is not for the faint of Heart. Brian Hunter if he needs some advice can call me my porfolio is up 39% since 2001 Net net. I don't trade I do the warren buffet thing and invest. Investors always win.

I would love to run a hedge fund one day.

I have been a member of Wall Street for neary two decades and its evident that the current structure does everything in its power not to fund companies or ideas that will empower the black and latino business community. I have first hand experience of this as an ideal in place I want to open a dialogue.
Keep in mind that I have contacted those in the Venture Capital Communities as well as the Major wire Houses in addition to the small boutique firms.
